Kutiyattam- Traditional Sanskrit Theatre. As the sole surviving embodiment of traditional Sanskrit theater in India, Kutiyattam, which literally translates to ‘combined acting’ epitomizes the essence of multifaceted performance. Through its four-fold concept of acting, Kutiyattam presents a captivating spectacle on stage. Employing an array of sophisticated techniques, Kutiyattam showcases mastery in stage presentation. Of these techniques, perhaps the most remarkable is the ability of a single actor to seamlessly portray multiple roles.
